Returns & Refunds — Advisory Engagements

1. Applicability
This policy applies to prepaid advisory engagements booked directly through Focus Pointx contracting channels. Third-party marketplaces follow their separate policies.
2. Cooling-off window
For services marketed and purchased remotely to consumers where Korean law grants a withdrawal right, you may cancel within fourteen (14) days of purchase without stating a reason, provided work has not commenced with your explicit written consent.
3. When services are deemed commenced
Work commences when we issue credentials, schedule workshops you approve, or begin repository access under your invitation — whichever happens first.
4. Partial completion
If you terminate after work begins, fees cover completed milestones plus documented hours already rendered at the contracted rates. Refunds apply only to portions not yet earned.
5. Non-refundable elements
Third-party licensing fees, travel already booked, or expedited vendor assessments ordered on your behalf are reimbursable costs, not Focus Pointx profit — those pass through without markup when receipts exist.
6. Process
Email hello@focus-pointx.one with engagement reference, reason, and banking details eligible for refund. We acknowledge within five business days and conclude verification within twenty business days barring disputes.
7. Processing timelines
Approved refunds post within fourteen (14) business days after approval using the original payment path where technically possible.
8. Charge disputes
Invoices remain payable while good-faith resolution proceeds. Initiating a payment reversal without contacting us may pause active engagements until clarified.
9. Exceptions
No refunds for completed deliverables accepted in writing. Custom expedited engagements may carry separate cancellation percentages stated in their statements of work.
10. Consumer rights reminder
Korean consumer regulations may provide additional remedies — nothing here limits non-waivable statutory protections.
